Construction Progresses

The new Hospital is progressing and we’d like to provide you with a quick construction update.
- It’s official! A date has been set. The patient move date is on time and scheduled for December 15, 2009!
- Drywall continues in Radiology.
- Drywall will soon begin in the Emergency Department.
- And the main entry glass will be installed soon.

Sherman Begins Countdown

As of today, there are only 357 days left until the grand opening of the new Sherman Hospital. Opening day is set for December 15th, 2009.
Last week, about 100 people gathered to celebrate the one-year countdown to the grand opening of the new 645,000 square foot hospital. The celebration was complete with three different cakes in the form of a three, six, and five.
So far the hospital has raised $10.1 million of the $12 million fundraiser. The Sherman Health staff have contributed $131,000 of that contribution alone.
